We capture the big emotions and the fleeting, beautiful moments throughout your wedding day.
Your photographs are carefully transferred and backed up to additional hard drives before editing begins.
We import the photographs, review thousands of captures and carefully shortlist the strongest images.
We assess composition, focus, exposure, unwanted distractions and poorly lit photographs before making the final selection.
Selected photographs are individually colour-corrected, carefully retouched where needed—including distracting objects and temporary skin blemishes—and creatively graded.
We export the finished photographs for delivery and archive copies on our hard drives.
We categorise the photographs, create the private gallery and send you a shareable link to enjoy and pass on.

A look behind the scenes at the cameras, audio gear, production tools, software and delivery platforms we use to create our photographs and films. These are the tools of our craft—not a physical studio for hire.
We use the Sony FX30 for cinematic films, two Sony A6400 bodies for photography, two Tamron 17–70mm f/2.8 lenses and the Sirui Sniper 23mm f/1.2.
We capture clear, natural audio with the Zoom F3 32-bit float recorder and Hollyland Lark Max 2 wireless microphone systems.
Our Zhiyun Cinepeer Weebill 3E stabilises footage, while the Godox ML60BiII, AD200ProII, AD100Pro and V480 support creative lighting. Black Mist 1/8 and variable ND filters shape the image.
We edit with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and DaVinci Resolve Studio. Suno AI and ChatGPT (Pixel) support our creative process, with Pixieset, Google Drive and WeTransfer for sharing and delivery.

What we offer, how we work, and what to expect—without unnecessary steps.
Our approach to wedding work is guided by our Christian beliefs. For that reason, we do not offer photography or videography for same-sex wedding ceremonies. We communicate this respectfully and without judgment.
We photograph and film Christian, civil and non-religious weddings. We do not currently offer coverage for ceremonies conducted according to other religious traditions. This describes the ceremonies we cover, not the couple’s personal beliefs.
No. We have discontinued drone services because of South Africa’s strict aviation rules and compliance requirements. Drone footage in older projects was filmed before we discontinued this service.
No. “Unlimited photos” is not a realistic promise. We capture extensively, then curate and edit a meaningful collection. The photo quantity or minimum included is set out in your chosen package.
Our specialty is cinematic highlight films, not continuous full-day recordings. We can discuss extending a highlights film by a few minutes. Long-form coverage requires a separate, staffed camera setup, which would limit our flexibility and creative storytelling.
Yes. We travel beyond Gauteng. Return travel is charged at R6.30/km, plus applicable tolls. A venue over 175 km away (one-way) requires overnight accommodation; these costs are quoted separately.
Yes. Our 30 × 30 cm, 72-page photo book is available as an optional extra at an additional cost.
No. RAW photographs are unfinished originals that remain FinePixel Media’s property. They require professional processing and may include duplicates, missed focus, poor lighting or test frames. We deliver carefully selected, edited photographs that reflect our signature quality and style.
No. Our footage is filmed in S-Log3, a flat, low-saturation profile that needs colour conversion and grading. Original recordings can also contain imperfect or unusable takes. We deliver finished, professionally edited films—not source footage.
We work hard to capture the moments that matter, but cannot guarantee every moment of the day. Depending on your package, one or both of us may be filming or photographing, and each camera can only cover one direction at a time. Please tell us about your must-have moments beforehand so we can prioritise them while staying focused on your story.
No. We do not offer payment plans or instalment arrangements. A 25% non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your date, and the balance is due one calendar month before the wedding. For bookings made one calendar month or less before the wedding, full payment is required upon booking.
Your date is formally confirmed once we receive the 25% non-refundable deposit, signed quotation and signed service agreement. If you expressly ask us to hold a date and later cancel—even before those steps are completed—a R3,500 cancellation charge may apply where the reservation terms were agreed and the charge is permitted by law. An initial enquiry alone does not reserve a date.
If serious illness prevents us from attending, we will make every reasonable effort to arrange a trusted replacement professional, subject to availability and your agreement. If we are well enough to work safely, we will follow appropriate medical advice and precautions. We will communicate promptly and discuss alternatives if coverage cannot proceed as planned.
We take care of our equipment and back up footage and photographs as soon as practicable after the wedding. Unexpected equipment or storage failures can still happen. If something is lost, we will investigate recovery options, explain what was affected and work with you on a fair remedy. Where possible, this may include a complimentary couple’s reshoot or another suitable option. Any rights to a refund or other remedy under applicable law remain unaffected.
FinePixel Media follows a strict no-discretionary-refunds policy for client-initiated cancellations, changes of mind or wedding date changes.
Once a booking is confirmed, we reserve that date exclusively and may decline other bookings. Payments received may therefore be retained towards reasonable cancellation charges and losses arising from that commitment, as outlined in our service agreement.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil our contractual obligations, any appropriate remedy will be assessed in accordance with our agreement and applicable South African consumer law.
Our policy does not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
You may request a date change, but we can only accept a new date if we are available. If your preferred date is already booked, we can offer a six-month window to agree on another mutually suitable date. If no date is agreed within that period, the cancellation terms apply, including any reasonable charges and applicable consumer-law protections. Payments are not automatically forfeited.
